Home of the New Orleans Laying of the Wreath ceremony, each year honoring Black Gold. He started his career in New Orleans and ended his career here, and is buried under the turf near the 16th pole. The family of Rosa M. Hoots attend this event each year to honor Black Gold. It is at this venue that you can always meet the family and purchase official Black Gold Memorabilia.

In 2008 Marion Davis’ Bluegrass Heights Farm, the final resting place for USEEIT, the dam of Black Gold, was purchased by Satish and Anne Sanan who have bought the 275-acre Bluegrass Heights Farm near Lexington.
